Mission Statement:Al-Anon has but one purpose: to help families of alcoholics.
We do this by practicing the Twelve Steps by welcoming
and giving comfort to families of alcoholics, and by giving
understanding and encouragement to the alcoholic.
This website serves the eastern portion of the Greater Metropolitan Phoeninx Area including: Ahwatukee, Apache Junction, Casa Grande, Chandler,
Coolidge, Florence, Gilbert, Globe, Gold Canyon, Guadalupe, Maricopa, Mesa, Queen Creek, Sun Lakes and Tempe.
The Information Center exists as
the servant of the member groups to carry the message of Al-Anon as best accomplished through the common effort of member groups.
The EVIC
adheres to the Twelve Traditions and Concepts of Al-Anon in disseminating information to member groups.
EVIC establishes standing and special
committees for specific purposes and to support Information Center business.
Any Al-Anon or Alateen group in the East Valley community is eligible
for membership with EVIC. To qualify as a group, the group is required to register with the WSO.
